update

i should've posted something a while ago. and then more and more time passes, and now it's 6 or 7 months since i last posted! well in case you haven't guessed (is anyone still checking this blog?), i'm not blogging anymore. i used to love it, but not anymore. i think it changed from what it used to be and so i just don't enjoy it anymore. plus it's really time consuming, and i'd just rather do other stuff with my time. i've loved being a part of the food blogger world though! and i'm still checking out other people's blogs though, and i'm sure i will continue to (i just don't comment nearly as often). i'm also pregnant (due in april), so have been focusing a lot of my free time on preparing for that. :)

if you want to contact me you can always email me at emdrecipes @ gmail . com

I feel the same way about blogging! I've been hoping to get back to it, but I just don't have the motivation anymore. At least, we'll have plenty of other blogs to occupy us. By the way, I'm pregnant and due in April too! Congrats! :)

Congrats! I hope you have a marvelous 3rd trimester & delivery.

Totally unsolicited and feel free to ignore, but if you start feeling nervous about labor at all, I recommend getting a copy of Ina May's Guide to Childbirth (if you haven't already). The birth stories were great for soothing my nerves when they started creeping up on me. Your Best Birth was also an eye opener for me.

And my friend just had a pain-free, unmedicated birth (Christmas Eve, almost on the bathroom floor because she didn't think she was so far along) for which she credits Hypnobabies. (https://www.hypnobabies.com/)

I've never left a comment before, but I've been following for 3 years or so and still refer back to your blog for recipes. Congratulations on your pregnancy and I completely understand not wanting to blog anymore, but I wanted you to know I'm still appreciating all of your previous work in a very yummy way. Thanks so much!

Hi Ashley!
congrats on the baby! Like we say in our community it should all be in the best time. I still love your blog and use it as a reference so I hope you will keep it up (meaning not delete it) but I could understand that you may not want to continue it since it takes so much time.

Best,
Neomi

I still check it, too. It's a little sad, but also good that you move on now that you've got your fill. You gave us some great recipes and photography- thank you! I will miss the Abby pictures, too. Soon you'll be having fun photographing somebody new- congratulations!!!

How odd - I was just thinking about you yesterday because I was thinking about some bloggers who hadn't blogged for ages. I understand your feelings - I have less time for blogging and commenting these days but I was delighted to see your update. Good luck with the baby and would love to see you sneak in a post every now and again
