Epicure Selections Baking Giveaway!

I'm super excited to be hosting a giveaway from Epicure Selections! I'm sure many of you can tell how much I love baking, so it only makes sense that this is a baking giveaway. It's quite the awesome package, including: Cherries & Berries, Crystallized Ginger, Dark Belgian Chocolate, Pure Cocoa, Baking Powder, 4 Piece Measuring Cup Set, Mini Whisk, and Silicone Mini-Loaf Pans (Set of 4). (Seriously, that is a lot of good stuff! The winner can go on a baking frenzy!)

I was lucky and got to try out some of these products for myself too. (Pictured is some of the stuff that's part of the package - one of the loaf pans, cherries & berries, and one of the measuring cups.) I baked up some mini loaves with the yummy Cherries & Berries (dried cherries, cranberries and blueberries). The mini loaf pans are so cute and make for easy sharing! And I love that you don't have to grease them. You can check out a previous post about some of their other products (which I love).

This contest is open only to Canadians, since they only ship within Canada. To enter the giveaway, leave a comment on this post with your email address (or some way to contact you) and tell me what your favourite kind of loaf is or the best loaf you've ever had. The contest will be open until Tuesday November 24th at 1159pm PST. I'll use a random number generator to pick the winner.

Oooh, I'd love to win! I love baking loaves, but my favorite would have to be a tart lemon loaf that my mom always used to bake. It even had a beautiful lemon syrup poured over top. I made it once since, but lost the recipe. It was amazing!

Focaccia! My mom used to bring home loaves of focaccia from this Italian shop in our neighbourhood. It was light, fluffy, chewy at the same time, omg so good fresh, and there were bits of feta and rosemary scattered around the surface of the bread. I picked out all the feta cheese bits once or twice because they were so good, haha. I also remember pestering my sister to cut me a piece before being tall enough to reach the counter and being able to use a knife. It was definitely pretty awesome :)

I think I like banana loaves the best. Nothing beat banana for me! It stays fresh long and you don't need as much butter because of all the moisture.

My favourite loaf is an orange cranberry bread... yum!

Only open to Canadians? THIS NEVER HAPPENS! Ok, I made this cranberry-buttermilk-toasted almond loaf the other week that was incredible.

this contest persuaded me to de-lurk and post!
loaves could be my favourite thing to bake - while there are many that I love, the best one I've made is an apricot, apple, walnut and honey loaf. Delish!

What an amazing package of baking goodies! I love a pear-and-ginger loaf that I used to make. Adding crystallized ginger would take it over the top! And dried cherries are phenomenally delicious, no?

Ooooh, those goods look so exciting. And I second raych's exclamation - rarely do you see a contest only open to Canadians!

My favorite loaf so far has been 101cookbook's zucchini bread, and also there is a cafe here in London, Ontario called the Black Walnut that does a to-die-for chocolate banana loaf.

Oh my goodness ... contests for Canadians! This never happens!

My favourite loaf is blueberry lemon loaf. Something about the sweet and the sour just does it for me.

those look both adorable and delicious

my favorite loaf has to be a sweet nutty tea bread. It's made with lots of honey and whatever you've got lying around in the cupboard.... dried fruit, nuts, chocolate chunks... delicious and, as the name suggests, goes great with tea

Wow - I love epicure selections and I love loaves! I don't think there's been a loaf that I haven't liked... I haven't tried this yet but I just got the recipe and it sounds amazing and I think it will be my new favourite - a white chocolate pumpking spice loaf! How incredible does that sound for fall!?

wow, what a lot of great stuff!!!
I love me a lemon loaf that's been drenched in lemon sugar syrup. So good. And also, whole wheat bread, fresh from the oven... especially the cap slice, still warm, with as much melty butter as it can hold.
Oh, yeah!

Such cute stuff and the loaves you made look really good. I think my favourite loaf is pumpkin with fresh cranberries and pumpkin seeds.

The best loaf I have ever eaten was a salty, savoury, mediterranean-inspired loaf with feta, olives and other delightful additions.

I'm pretty lame, I only know banana bread, and have only tried banana bread with chocolate chips once. So I'm pretty biased when I say that my favourite loaf is classic banana bread... I was going to try to make the cocoa-nana bread you posted, but haven't had the chance yet :) email is selofan at hot mail dot com

Katrina said...

Hands down, my favorite is banana!

Hey, I made the ginger spice cookies you posted in Oct. and they are good! I linked you on my blog post about them! Thanks.

While everyone's all about a canadian contest, I'm totally stoked as an Australian living in Canada to finally be able to enter one of these things!
There's this awesome breakfast cherry and dried apple oatmeal loaf thats in a Bill Granger book that I've made once and adored. And then, at Miller Creek Cafe in Whistler, they make this amazing banana and choc chip loaf that is absolutely cake pretending to be bread and I think that's what makes it even better.
Not to mention that my sketchy Whistler share house is in desperate need of cooking implements...
